As we push toward the end of the year, things are moving fast around here. And it's the good kind of fast. The kind that comes from working hard, staying focused, and showing up even when we’re tired. Especially when we’re tired.
This time of year is always a mix of hustle and heart. We’re finishing strong, feeding a lot of people, and taking a minute to look around and say, “Wow… look how far we’ve come.”
So here’s what you need to know as we close out 2025 and roll straight into 2026.
🎄 Christmas Ordering — Final Call
If Code 1 BBQ is part of your Christmas plans, now’s the time.
👉 Christmas ordering closes Sunday, 12/21.
Once it shuts down, that’s it — no last-minute “pretty please” texts will save you (trust us, we’ve tried).
🎉 New Year’s Eve Ordering
New Year’s Eve ordering is open until Sunday, 12/28, and we’re rolling out something brand new:
✨ NEW Party Platters
Available for 6, 10, or 20 people — perfect for house parties, family gatherings, or ringing in the New Year without cooking all day.
More details are coming, but trust us… you’re going to want this one.

About That Sign…
If you missed it, this post sparked a lot of conversation and love from our BBQ Fam:

Short version?
No — we don’t have a big sign on the building yet. And yes — there’s a reason.
Many of you have watched us grow from a two-person, husband-and-wife catering operation sharing a commercial kitchen into a 100+ seat restaurant and full catering company with an incredible team. If you’re new here — welcome. You’re part of that story now too.
We built this place with our own two hands. With long nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of faith. Along the way, our community showed up — with support, encouragement, donations, elbow grease, paint rollers, and belief. Our staff believed in the mission before it was easy. And together, we kept going.
We didn’t wait for the perfect sign, perfect floors, or perfect lighting to open. We opened as is. We’re still building while serving damn good BBQ and scratch-made sides every day.
Yes — the windows are tinted.
Yes — it can look dark from the outside.
Yes — the Panera lights aren’t exactly the vibe we’re going for.
So we’re lighting things up piece by piece. Window signs. A brand-new BBQ neon sign. And our OPEN sign is always on when we’re open.
If we ever look “closed,” check the open sign, our website, our hours, or online ordering. Call us. Stop in. Every order, every like, every follow, every comment, every review, every word-of-mouth recommendation brings us one step closer to that sign.
And when it finally goes up?
You better believe we’re filming it.

❤️ Ending the Year Grateful (And Fired Up)
As this year winds down, we just want to say thank you.
To our team for showing up, grinding, caring, and believing.
To our customers for trusting us with your meals and your celebrations.
To our family and friends for supporting us even when this business demanded everything and kept us from attending all your events.
We’re tired. We’re proud. And we’re more motivated than ever.
We’re ready to ring in the New Year with a bang — and a whole lot of smoke.
See you soon,
Erica & Sean
